DON'T FORGET THE SERVICE EXPERIENCE TAB!!

Hannah had to get her Ecuador ID card renewed this week. So we went to the immigration office here in Cuenca. Instead of taking a number to track who's next in line, Cuenca immigration takes a more tree-friendly approach. The chairs in the lobby are strategically placed in a semi-circle, and each time the next person was called to the little desk in the corner, everyone in the lobby would stand up and move one seat down.

Of course every time the music stopped and people grabbed the next seat, there was someone who would try to steal a seat, or convince the person in front of them that they had been in the bathroom and wanted their seat back. Once, mid-chair switch, a young foreigner was actually left standing in the middle without a seat. It was funny.

CHICKEN SUSHI IN ECUADOR...

Last night, we went over to a friend's house and made sushi from scratch. Apparently, in New Zealand, sushi is commonly made with cooked chicken as well as raw fish. (Thanks for the clarification Aaron!)  It was a very interesting experience, but actually pretty good.
According to Aaron, Youtube says you have to squeeze the sushi really hard to form it properly. The result: Blowout at the ends! Haha. Anyway, it was a fun night. Gracias chicos. Oigan, la proxima vez tendra que ser en nuestra casita. Que dicen?
