Well it's over. 2010 World Cup... the first world cup that I have watched practically from start to finish. I started out as a typical American, not really understanding or caring about the rules and the match grids, asking what "offside" means. But ended up screaming my lungs out with the best of them. From early on, Spain captured my attention, and while they were not expected to get far, I wanted them to get to the finals. Us girls can't get enough of Spain. (for their playing ability and footwork of course!)
The last 6 games we watched either at home, on the big screen at Juan Valdez or with our friends from the English group. Here are some pics of the matches and the parties.

Thanks so much for the updates, they are very encouraging and often entertaining. I always check every few days to see if something new has arrived, and today it did!
