Quito with the Allens

Here are a few shots of our cultural tour in Quito with the Allens a couple weeks ago. We´ve been so busy, we haven´t had time to post them until now. The last month has been crazy, we haven´t even been able to get to our spanish classes regularly. And this month will be more hectic, as we started it with a trip to the coast for the long anticipated english assembly (super great), then to the beach for a couple days (pics to follow). This coming week, I have a friend and his family coming to visit us, which will be fun, but time consuming, as they want to do a lot of tourist things, so we´ll be traveling a little bit with them. Then next weekend is our spanish convention in Quito, and the week we get back from that, we both have talks. Hate to say it, but we´re not looking forward to that. The plan is to write them tonight and then have Celeste help us correct them.

Anyway, hopefully, next month will calm down a bit so we can relax, make our time and resume our spanish classes.

I really like the night shots of Quito, good job.
I have 2 weddings, a family reunion, and a maternity portrait session this month, in addition to 2 camping trips.Don't know if I'm coming or going.
Tomorrow Martin and I are taking Jo and the babies camping in central Oregon. It'll be either crazy or fun. T hey are growing so much. They smile and "talk" it's cute,I just love it.
New people in our hall. Doug House and his family, and Greg and Jessica Van and their 2 kids. Yay!We have a great new couple, the Bergs, they came on the camping trip up at East Lake last week, he made the most excellent ribs.
Sara won tickets to see the Phantom of the Opera in Portland and took me, it was tonight and it was very good, I enjoyed it so much.
Art Fessler made it to meeting the other day, and even said the closing prayer. His health issues really show on him, but it was so good that he was there.
Looking forward to hearing about the convention.

Hi girls, boy I had a lot to catch up on I am so amazed at the stuff you are doing and the fun you are having. The bus trip i know it was probably not supposed to be funny and for the most part I was on the edge of my seat but, when you said your vision of the prisons and you in it I busted out laughing. I will call you soon. I love you both and I love all of the pictures. I took my time going through them all. We are all so proud of you here. Talk to you soon. Your parents are coming so we can send stuff if you have any requests let me know.
